The house was moved in four pieces from an Auckland house removal yard in 2002.  Originally 1950’s, with additions and alterations done in the 80’s, it had an old Hardies shingle style roof product.  The roof was old and had badly deteriorated, the house leaked, and it was going to be difficult and expensive to renew.
 
As you can see by the roof design in the photos it wasn’t going to be easy.  
I had had a number of roofers look at it – some didn’t quote at all, some shook their heads and some even recommended the Roofing Specialists for a job this size and complex. 
 
I spoke with Frank from the Roofing Specialists in 2008, over 2 years before the roof was done.  Their quote was very reasonable and their service was excellent then. 
 
In 2010 I finally got my new roof.  I cannot say enough about the team from the Roofing Specialists.  Frank, Bill, Wayne and his roofers and the admin team of Monique and co were outstanding throughout.  They were always kind, friendly, and patient (especially when I thought I had chosen the wrong colour), nothing was any bother, their responses and patience to my questions were tremendous, and they were always professional, and helpful. 
 
Wayne and the lads on the job were extremely efficient, tidy, and courteous towards myself and my family.  Their workmanship was exceptional; they went the extra mile and did a superb job.  It seemed like in no time my house was being transformed and the final result is just stunning.  I couldn’t wait for it to rain for the first time!!
